Ultimate Street Car Association opens registration for 2014 season

Back in November, the Ultimate Street Car Association was announced at SEMA as a national race series to oversee the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational and Qualifying. Registration is now open for the first event at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Those of you who picked up any tuner mag from the last six years will remember the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational, which played host to some incredible cars -- and demonstrated an overwhelming bias toward Camaros, it turns out.

Nico Rosberg (pictured) takes pole for Mercedes at Monaco 2014 Nico Rosberg has taken pole position for tomorrow’s Monaco Grand Prix, but the way in which he took pole position does leave room for doubt. Rosberg did seem quicker in final qualifying, but he ‘went off’ at the Mirabeau corner as final qualifying was coming to a close and depriving Lewis Hamilton of the chance to grab pole on his last qualifying lap. Mazda has released shadowy teaser images of its new 6 saloon, in anticipation of its world premiere at the Moscow motor show, running from 29 August - 9 September 2012. The car's nose is very similar to the Takeri concept of 2011, continuing the new Mazda family face first seen in production trim on the new Mazda CX-5 crossover.
